CNN Tonight with Laura Coates with guests Dutch Merrick, founder of PropGunSafety.com, CNN legal analyst Elliott Williams and former Maryland state police officer Neill Franklin to discuss the charges filed by the Santa Fe District Attorney in the investigation of the Rust tragedy in which Director of Photography Halyna Hutchins was fatally wounded with a live bullet fired from a prop gun.
Alec Baldwin now formally charged today in connection with the 2021 fatal shooting on the set of the movie “Rust.” The Santa Fe county D.A.’s office charging Baldwin and the set’s armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed with two counts of involuntary manslaughter. CNN has reached out to representatives of both Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed following today’s charges and has yet to hear back.
